Canyoning in Nepal
Thriving sport and adventure event in Europe and some other parts of the world 'CANYONING' is taking shape as one of the major components of adventure tourism activities in the Nepal Himalaya. As a result of constant efforts of Nepal Canyoning Association (NCA) along with the support of Nepali Canyoneers and international canyoneers especially from France have made it possible that Nepalese mountains now are ready to offer more than twenty canyoning sites where adventurers can quench their thirst of thrill and challenging experiences.

Exploration and development of new canyoning sites in Nepal has been growing day by day along with growth in number of professional canyoneers both in Nepal and in international level.
Canyoning in Nepal becomes more unique as the canyons are situated in the remote parts of the country where wonderful culture and landscape welcome visitors. Some canyons are in close proximity from the capital city of Kathmandu within less than one hour's drive whereas some others are situated on the lap of the Himalayan mountain making itself the canyoning site situated on the highest elevation in the world. Given the varied and extremely beautiful geographic features, canyoning in Nepal can be combined with various other adventure activities such as Trekking, Rafting, Caving and Climbing.
